Paper Leprechaun Craft
When it comes to St. Patrick’s Day crafts, there’s nothing better to make than a cute leprechaun. In fact, this Paper Leprechaun Craft is about as cute as you can get. Easy, as well, with our included Free Leprechaun Template. We loved putting ours together, and I’m sure you will, too!
While this is basically a cut and paste St. Patrick’s Day craft, which makes it a great leprechaun craft for all ages, the template does come with different hat options for different looks. It’s also fun to play around with colors and facial features.

Leprechaun Craft Step by Step Instructions
Print the leprechaun template. Cut out the pieces.
Trace the hat, body, sleeve and leg patterns on green paper. The head, nose and hands should be traced on the light pink or peach paper for the leprechaun’s skin. The beard and eyebrow patterns on orange paper, the strips and small squares on black paper and the big squares on yellow or golden paper. Lastly, trace the shoes on brown or black paper. Cut out all the traced patterns.
Glue the head cutout on the beard cutout, keeping the scalloped border of the beard around the side. Attach the shoe cutouts on either side of the leg cutouts and attach the hands on either side of the sleeves.
Now, glue the small black square in the middle of the big yellow, or golden, square and then attach the square pattern in the middle of the black strip making the belt. Attach the belt on the body cutout. Attach the sleeve and hands on both sides of the body pattern and attach the leg patterns on the bottom side of the body pattern.
Next, grab the head pattern, googly eyes and a small piece of craft foam. Glue the foam along the center of the head.
Glue the nose cutout on the top of the foam piece.
Adhere googly eyes on the face. Glue the eyebrow cutouts on the top of the eyes. Use a sharpie to draw a smile. You could also add freckles, too.
Glue the head on top of the body.
Position the small black square in the middle of the big yellow, or golden, square. Glue the square pattern in the middle of the black strip making the hat buckle. Then, glue the strip on the hat, near the bottom side.
Finally, glue the paper hat on the top side of the papercraft leprechaun’s head to complete the craft.
How adorable are these leprechauns? We love their raised nose and the different options, too!
