- Googly eyes, small
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Cardboard Roll Stamp Hedgehog Step by Step Directions
Begin with toilet paper size cardboard rolls and your choice of colors. You will need one cardboard roll for every color. We’ve tried cutting the rolls in half before, but in our experience the full size rolls are easier to grip.

Cut about 2” snips going up the roll.

Bend back the snipped pieces.

Now, pour a generous amount of paint on a flat surface. A paper plate or scrap piece of cardstock works well. Dip the cardboard roll in the paint.

Then, on a white sheet of cardstock, decide where you want your hedgehog and start stamping with the cardboard roll.

Continue stamping until the circle is filled. Be sure to use the cardboard roll to get color in the center, too. Let the paint dry completely.

Next, cut a triangle face shape, with a point going up. Also, use a 1” paper punch to make a circle for the feet. Cut the circle in half.

Use a black marker to color in the tip of the face shape for the nose. Draw a simple mouth and add 3 lines to the half circle shapes for toes.

Then, when the paint is dry, glue the face in place.

Glue the feet in place, too. Add a googly eye to finish this darling hedgehog craft.
