Cardboard Roll Stamped Bear Craft

Cardboard Roll Stamped Bear Craft

You may refer to them as toilet paper rolls or tubes. I prefer to call them cardboard rolls. Whatever you call them, though, they’re a really fun crafting supply and incredibly versatile.  There are so many wonderful toilet paper roll crafts, or cardboard roll crafts. In the case of this stamped brown bear craft, the cardboard rolls actually make the craft, instead of being the craft.

To make our cardboard roll stamped fall bears you will need toilet paper size cardboard rolls, brown acrylic paint, brown and white cardstock, a black marker, 2” and 1.5” circle paper punches, scissors, and a glue stick.

Stamped Brown Bear Craft Supplies Needed

  • Cardboard rolls
  • Brown acrylic paint
  • Cardstock – brown, white
  • Black marker
  • Circle paper punches – 2”, 1.5”
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

Easy Bear Painting Craft Step by Step Directions

Begin with a toilet paper size cardboard roll.

Cut slits in cardboard roll.

Cut slits in one end of the cardboard roll, about 2 inches or so.

Bend slits back.

Bend the slits back.

Dip cardboard roll in paint.

Now, gather a sheet of white cardstock and brown acrylic paint. Pour a generous amount of paint on a flat surface, like a paper plate. Dip the cardboard roll in the brown paint.

Stamp cardboard roll in a circle until full.

Then, begin stamping in a circle on the white cardstock. Continue stamping until the circle is as full as desired. Use the cardboard roll to fill in the center of the circle, too. Let the paint dry completely.

Punch one 2 inch circle and one 1.5 inch circle.

When the paint is completely dry, use the 2” circle punch and 1.5” circle punch to make a circle of each.

Glue larger circle in place for mouth.

Glue the larger circle to the face of the bear for it’s muzzle.

Cut smaller circle in half and glue in place for ears.

Cut the smaller circle in half and glue in place for ears.

Draw simple nose and mouth.

Then use a black marker to draw a simple nose and mouth.

Add googly eyes.

Finally, add googly eyes to finish your super cute and fuzzy bear craft.
