For our paper plate flower wreaths you will need paper plates, tissue paper in assorted colors, scissors, and glue. So easy and so pretty!

Cinco de Mayo Flower Wreath Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper plates
- Tissue paper – assorted colors
- Scissors
- Glue
Paper Plate Flower Wreath Craft Step by Step Directions
Firstly, gather a paper plate and scissors.

Have an adult carefully insert a pair of scissors into the center of the paper plate and cut out the inside of the plate, leaving the outside ring.

Now, gather all your colors of tissue paper. You will need numerous assorted colors, the more colors the better. Cut the tissue paper into circles. They do not need to be perfect circles, nor do they need to be any specific size.

Next, apply a ring of glue around the paper plate. Simply scrunch a circle of the tissue paper in the center and place the center in the glue. The edges should be free and still poofed up.

Continue gluing more scrunched up circles of tissue paper around the paper plate ring.

When the ring is full, apply dots of glue in the center of the already placed tissue paper.

Continue scrunching the tissue paper and add another layer.

Then add one more layer, for 3 total layers of tissue paper.

Lastly, we cut leaf shapes out of green tissue paper and glued a few leaves in any open areas of the wreath.

A beautiful flower wreath craft, perfect for Cinco de Mayo or any spring celebrations!
