Using a cupcake liner is such an easy way to make a Christmas tree. All you need to do is fold in two sides to make a point, the basic shape is already there. We used green cupcake liners and a few blue, too, just to mix it up a bit.

Now, use metallic markers to draw a strand of lights across the tree. We like using metallic markers because the colors tend to be brighter than regular markers.

Insert craft stick in pocket of cupcake liner and glue in place.

When the lights are made, glue the top of a craft stick and insert into the pocket made from the folds of the cupcake liner. You can glue the top fold down at this time, as well.
