Cupcake Liner Sunflower Craft
Since it’s currently 100 degrees outside, we thought, well, maybe a few more summer crafts. For the summer sun, we made this easy, bright, and beautiful Cupcake Liner Sunflower Craft. Plus, it has a fun q-tip painting process for the center of the flower.

Sunflowers are my absolute favorite flower. Of course they’re gorgeous during summer. They’re kind of a fall flower, too. I really love sunflowers anytime, though. And this sunflower craft is perfect to do anytime of year, but maybe especially on a super hot afternoon.

Q-Tip Painted Cupcake Liner Sunflower Craft
To make our easy and pretty cupcake liner sunflowers you will need yellow cupcake liners, cardstock in green and blue, black acrylic paint, qtips, scissors, and a glue stick.

Sunflower Cupcake Liner Craft Supplies Needed
- Yellow cupcake liners
- Cardstock – green, blue
- Black acrylic paint
- Q-tips
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Easy Sunflower Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by gathering yellow cupcake liners and your choice of blue background cardstock.

Flatten the cupcake liners. Make snips all around the edges of the liner.

Then, glue just the center of the liners towards the top of the blue cardstock. We were able to get two sunflowers on a sheet.

Next, cut two long strips from the green cardstock for stems.

Glue the stems in place, starting under the edges of the sunflower.

Trim away any excess at the bottom.

Finally, gather four q-tips and black acrylic paint. Dip all four of the q-tips in the black paint.

Then, stamp the q-tips in the center of the sunflower.

Continue stamping to fill the center and finish your beautiful sheet of sunflowers.
