Our pair of Easy Paper Bag Halloween Crafts are so easy, in fact, they’re scary! Not like super spooky kind of scary, but a too good to be true kind of eerie. Except they’re not too good to be true, because they’re just that good and easy! As an added bonus, it’s a fun Halloween craft that works with shapes, too.

Easy Paper Bag Halloween Crafts

Perfect Halloween crafts for toddlers, our Paper Bag Ghost Craft and our Paper Bag Jack-O-Lantern Craft are both super similar crafts. Paint one bag orange, the other white, and there’s a lot of other differences. So they work great as a fun afternoon of Halloween crafting, and so easy.

Easy Paper Bag Ghost Craft

Paper Bag Ghost and Jack-O-Lantern Craft

For our Halloween paper bag crafts, you’ll need brown paper lunch bags, acrylic paint in orange and white, black cardstock, scissors, and a glue stick.

Halloween Easy Paper Bag Crafts Supplies Needed

  • Brown paper lunch bags
  • Acrylic paint – orange, white
  • Black cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

Paper Bag Halloween Crafts Step by Step Directions

Both of these crafts are super easy and go together in just a few simple steps. We’ll start with the jack-o-lantern.

Paper Bag Jack-O-Lantern Craft

Begin by painting the paper bag orange.

Paint paper bag orange.

Let the paint dry completely.

Cut jack-o-lantern pieces from black cardstock.

While the paint is drying, cut the pieces for the jack-o-lantern’s face from black cardstock. You’ll need simple triangles for the eyes, as well as a smaller triangle for the nose. Then, cut a half circle. Make triangle notches in the half circle for the Jack-O-Lantern mouth. You can always draw the face shapes out first to make it easier.

Glue triangle eyes and nose on flap.

Then, when the paint is dry, glue the eyes and nose in place on the flap of the bag.

Glue mouth below flap.

Finally, glue the mouth below the flap.

Paper Bag Ghost Craft

Start by painting a paper bag white.

Paint bag white.

Let the paint dry completely.

Cut ghost pieces from black cardstock.

While the paint is drying, cut two ovals and a circle from black cardstock.

Glue oval eyes on flap.

Then, once the paint is completely dry, glue the ovals to the flap of the paper bag.

Add circle mouth below flap.

Finally, glue the circle mouth below the flap.
