Paper Bag Mummy Craft
We’re gonna wrap up some fun paper bag Halloween crafts with this easy Paper Bag Mummy Craft! Wrap up, get it? Because they’re mummies and we have to wrap them up. Oh, the punny jokes! Anyway, moving on.

Make no bones about it, this paper bag mummy is super fun and really easy, needing only a few supplies. Paint your mummy in any color you want, make some simple eyes out of circles of paper, then just wrap it all up with strips of white paper. It’s a really fun, easy Halloween craft for preschoolers.

Easy Paper Bag Mummy Craft
For our paper bag mummy craft, you’ll need brown paper lunch bags, acrylic paint in your choice of colors, white and black paper, scissors, and a glue stick.

Halloween Mummy Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper bags
- Acrylic paint – choice of colors
- Paper – black, white
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Mummy Paper Bag Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting a brown paper lunch bag in the color of your choice. We chose purple, green, and grey for our mummies.

Let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, cut two larger circles from white paper and two small circles from black paper. They don’t need to be perfect circles by any means, most of it will get covered up once we start wrapping the mummy anyway. You’ll also need to cut a simple rectangular strip from the black paper.

Then, once the paint is dry, glue the small black circles to the center of the white circles and glue in place on the flap of the bag. Glue the black strip below the flap.

Now, cut a bunch of strip of white paper.

Glue the white paper strips across the mummy randomly.

Continue gluing the white strips until your mummy is all wrapped up, or wrapped up as much as an old mummy can be. Because old mummies unravel. I think old mummy typing this might be unraveling, too.
