Mother’s Day Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft

If mom loves flowers, then she’ll adore this Craft Stick Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft for Mother’s Day. It’s a gift of flowers that never wilts, in fact only gets better with age as mom can look back and remember just how small and sweet her little ones were. Ok, I’m getting a little weepy.

This craft really is so sweet, and very easy to make, too. Especially with our included Free Handprint Bouquet Printable Template. It has the triangle size needed for the craft stick bouquet wrapper, along with a flower template. But you could always use flower stickers or craft flowers, instead.

Mother’s Day Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft

Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft supplies needed

To make our flower bouquet craft you will first need our free printable template. The rest of the supplies include regular craft sticks, scrapbook paper, cardstock in green, pinks, and purples, a metallic marker, twine, scissors, and a glue stick.

Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft Supplies Needed

Flower Bouquet Handprint Craft Step by Step Directions

Begin by printing the handprint flower bouquet template. Cut out the pieces.

Trace triangle on scrapbook paper and cut out.

Trace the triangle on a sheet of pretty scrapbook paper and cut out.

Glue 3 craft sticks along edges of triangle.

Now, glue three craft sticks along the edges of the triangle.

Trace handprint on green cardstock and cut out.

Next, trace your little one’s handprint on green cardstock and cut out/

Glue handprint to back of triangle.

Glue the handprint to the back top of the flat part of the triangle.

Trace and cut out flowers.

It’s now time to cut out your flowers. Trace the template on the colors of your choice and cut out. Cut out as many flowers as you would like that fill up the handprint. We made our flowers with pink, purple, and maroon colored cardstock, but make yours with mom’s favorite colors.

Glue flowers to the handprint.

Once you have all the flowers cut out, begin gluing the flowers on the handprint.

Glue on end of each finger and on palm.

Glue a flower at the end of each finger, and a couple on the palm section, too.

Draw circle in center of each flower with a marker.

Next, use a marker to color in the center of the flower. We used a metallic marker.

Tie a bow with bakers twine and glue to the front.

Finally, tie a bow with bakers twine and glue to the center of the top craft stick.

I don’t know about you, but handprint flowers are my favorite kind of flowers.
