Yarn Mummy Craft with a Cardboard Roll
Supplies needed:
- Cardboard roll
- White yarn
- Black acrylic paint
- Googly eyes, small self-adhesive
- Scissors
Begin with a toilet paper size clean cardboard roll.
Paint the cardboard roll black. You could make the craft even easier and just leave unpainted, too. Let dry.
Once dry, adhere googly eyes. Self adhesive kind works best for sticking to the rolls, and you don’t need glue.
Make snips on the top and bottom of the roll.
Take the start of the yarn and insert into one of the strips.
Now, simply start wrapping.
When finished wrapping, insert the end into another snip.
And your mummies are now all wrapped up! Since no glue or even tape is required you could very easily unwrap as part of a Halloween game, who can unwrap the mummy the fastest, and then wrap again.
