Paper Plate Crayon Resist Earth Craft
Get ready to celebrate our Earth Day with this super fun Paper Plate Crayon Resist Earth Craft! This is such a great craft to do while learning about our Earth and all we can do to help make it better.

Crayon resist projects are always so much fun. To make this one a bit more precise, we have a Free Printable Earth Template with the continents that you can cut out then trace with a white crayon. You can always do it freehand, though.

Crayon Resist Watercolor Earth Day Craft
To make our watercolor Earth you will first need our Earth printable template. The rest of the supplies include paper plates, a white crayon, watercolors, and scissors.

Paper Plate Crayon Resist Earth Craft Supplies Needed
- Earth Template
- Paper plates
- White crayon
- Watercolors
- Scissors
Crayon Resist Earth Craft Step by Step Directions
You will first need to print our Earth template.

Cut out the 3 continent pieces from the template.

Now, place a continent piece on the paper plate. Use a white crayon to trace around the continent. You can also use doubled up masking tape to keep the continent in place. Or, skip the template altogether and go freehand. Repeat for all 3 continent paper pieces.

Once all the continents are drawn, gather your watercolors. Begin painting the oceans in the crayon lines. Now is a great time to give a lesson about all the oceans and land in our Earth.

Try to keep the oceans blue. But if you get some blue on land, that’s ok, too. Add some purples and different shades of blue watercolors. It’s fun to see the white crayon lines as you paint.

Then once all the oceans are painted, continue on with green for the land.

Finally, once your Earth craft is painted, let it dry completely.

We had a lot of fun with this Earth Day craft and hope you do, too!
