You can make your snowman with the included top hat. Or, make your snowman some ear muffs with a couple simple circles and a curved strip of paper. The most important part, though, is the photo, which gives this snowman craft all of its adorable personality.

Winter Snowman Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the snowman template on white cardstock or paper.

Cut out the base for the snowman. Trace and cut out on the cardstock color of choice. Blues are always good for winter. We like using purple, too.

Cut out the circles and leave white.

Now, cut two thin brown strips for arms. Glue the arms in place on the base.

Begin gluing circles in the center of the base for their respective size.

Then, use a 2” circle paper punch to cut a face from a photograph. Make sure you check the bottom window of the paper punch to make sure the face is exactly where it needs to be punched, because you only have one chance. You don’t want to mess up a photograph.

Next, glue the face in the center of the top circle.

We’re adding ear muffs to this snowman, so we punched two small circles with a ⅝” circle paper punch. We also used the template to help us make the curve that goes over the head.

Glue it all in place to form ear muffs.

Now, cut three strips out of another color cardstock. One strip to fit the width the neck of the snowman, the other two a bit shorter.

Glue these strips in place for a scarf.

Finally, use a black marker to add coal buttons going down the front of the super cute, super sweet, and oh so cool snowman keepsake photo craft.

To make a snowman with a top hat, simply cut out the hat shape from the template. Then trace and cut it out of black cardstock. Add a thin strip for the belt of the hat. We finished ours with a flower using our flower paper punch, but stickers or buttons would work, too.
