You Rock! Handprint Father’s Day Card Craft
I’m sure dad already knows he rocks, but go ahead and remind him to continue rocking on with our electrifying Father’s Day Handprint You Rock Card Craft! More a card than a craft, but it has a handprint in the rock on sign making up the body of the guitar, so it’s a sweet keepsake, too.
We have the card part ready to print with our free You Rock Father’s Day Card Printable. All you need to do is supply the handprint. Then, of course, write your Happy Father’s Day message on the inside of the card. And you’re ready to rock!
You Rock! Handprint Father’s Day Card Craft
To make our You Rock! Father’s Day card you will first need to print the You Rock card printable.
You will also need cardstock in your choice of colors, a black sharpie, scissors, and a glue stick.
Handprint Guitar Father’s Day Craft Supplies Needed
- You Rock Card Printable
- Cardstock – your colors of choice
- Black sharpie
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Handprint You Rock! Father’s Day Card Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the card on whatever color cardstock you choose. We chose a tan color.
Fold the card in half.
Now, trace your handprint on another color cardstock of choice.
Cut out the handprint.
Glue down ring and middle fingers.
Then glue down the thumb to make a “rock on” symbol.
Glue the handprint in place at the base of the neck of the guitar.
Finally, write your Happy Father’s Day message on the inside of the card.
This is an updated version of our previous card attempt, where we just simply glued the full handprint in place at the base of the neck of the guitar. You could, of course, do that, too, or make our You Rock! card your own in any way you want.
