Grab a clean toilet paper roll and make this super fun and easy Cardboard Roll Stamp Spider Craft! With a few cuts of the cardboard roll you can make this really fun spider decoration craft for Halloween. Such a great preschool craft and beyond!

We made our spiders all black, but you can spice it up by making your spiders brown, purple, green, yellow, you name it. Stamp the snipped roll loaded with paint on the cardstock color of your choice, then just add googly eyes, as well as a line for the web he’s spinning. As super cute as spiders can be.

Simple Cardboard Roll Stamped Spider Craft

For this fun stamp spider craft, you’ll need toilet paper size cardboard rolls, black acrylic paint, cardstock colors of your choice, a black marker, small googly eyes, paintbrush, and scissors. If your googly eyes aren’t self-adhesive then you’ll also need glue.

Halloween Stamp Spider Craft Supplies Needed

  • Cardboard rolls
  • Black acrylic paint
  • Cardstock – colors of choice
  • Googly eyes, small
  • Paintbrush
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Stamped Spider Craft Step by Step Directions

Start with a clean toilet paper size cardboard roll.

Cut snips in cardboard to make 4 legs on both sides.

Make 5 snips on one side of the roll to form 4 legs. Do the same on the other side. Bend the legs up.

Cut off excess cardboard roll between legs so it sit flat.

Now, carefully trim all the extra between the legs so it’s all the same height and sits as flat as possible.

Pour generous amount of paint.

Next, pour a generous amount of paint on a paper plate. You can use a paint brush to swirl the paint around.

Dip cardboard roll in black paint.

Dip the cardboard roll in the paint. Make sure all the legs are covered with paint.

Stamp cardboard roll.

Then, stamp the roll on a sheet of cardstock.

Use end of a paintbrush to push legs onto the paper.

Use the end of a paintbrush to push the legs down and try to make sure the paint sticks evenly.

Lift cardboard roll.

Lift the roll. We were able to fit 2 spiders on each sheet of cardstock. Let the paint dry.

Add googly eyes.

When the paint is dry, add googly eyes.

Draw simple black line to top of cardstock.

Finish the super cute stamped spiders by using a black marker to draw a simple line to the top of the cardstock.
