Craft Stick Christmas Gift Craft
There’s nothing better than gifting presents at Christmas. Receiving presents isn’t so bad, either. While waiting impatiently for the real deal, get wrapped up with our Craft Stick Christmas Gift Craft! This is such a great way to get kids into the spirit leading up to the holidays!

This Christmas gift craft would make for some fun pretend play. It would also be a great addition to a Christmas display. Add them under a small tabletop Christmas tree for that extra festive touch. There are so many possibilities!

You will need 9 craft sticks for every Christmas present craft. Paint the craft sticks in your choice of colors. Then, wrap with cardstock ribbon and a bow. You can decorate the “wrapping paper” in your choice of decorations if you want, too. We used a paper punch star and snowflake, but you can decorate with stickers, buttons, markers, whatever you have on hand.

You’ll also need items for decorating. We used snowflake and star paper punches with white paper. We also used metallic markers for our gift tags.
Craft Stick Christmas Gift Craft Supplies Needed

- Cardstock – white, choice of colors

Christmas Present Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by gathering 9 or 10 regular size craft sticks per gift craft.

Glue the craft sticks together. The easiest way we’ve found to do this without hot glue is to cut a spare piece of cardstock to just the width of all the craft sticks. Glue the craft sticks to the cardstock and let the glue set.

Paint the craft sticks in your choice of color. Let the paint dry completely.

Now, when the paint is dry, cut cardstock in your choice of color to use as ribbon wrapped around the present. You will need to cut two long strips, one medium strip and three shorter strips.

Use the two long strips to wrap around the gift. Wrap one going horizontally, the other vertically. Wrap the ends of the strips around the back of the gift and glue to secure.

Next, make a bow with the medium sized strip. To do this, simply apply glue to the tops of both ends. Bring the end to the middle of the strip and hold to set the glue.

Wrap one of the smaller strips around the middle of the bow and glue to secure.

Glue the last two strips coming from the center of the bow for the bow tails. Adhere the bow to the center of the gift.

At this point, finish the Christmas gift craft by adding decorations like snowflakes, stars, or stickers. You can also make a gift tag to add to the present, too.

We had so much fun making our Christmas gift crafts, and hope you enjoy them just as much!
