Craft Stick Woodland Animal Crafts
This set of Craft Stick Woodland Animal Crafts would make a great set of bookmarks, puppets, or just a fun fall craft. We made a simple fox, skunk, bear, and raccoon, all with just a few steps and fine-point pen details.
We used jumbo craft sticks, but even still there are some intricate details in this craft, which would make it better for older kids or teens. That said, it’s a really simple fall craft that we just had to share and would look great holding the pages of your favorite autumn read.
Fall Animal Craft Stick Crafts
To make our set of woodland animal craft you will need jumbo craft sticks, acrylic paint in orange, brown, gray, and black, along with fine-point pens in white, silver, pink, and black, and a black marker.

- Jumbo craft sticks
- Acrylic paint – orange, brown, gray, black
- Fine-point pens – white, black, silver, pink
- Black marker
Craft Stick Woodland Animal Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting jumbo craft sticks.
You’ll need to paint one stick orange, one brown, another gray, and the other black. Let the paint dry completely.
Once the paint is dry, begin making the simple faces for the woodland animals. We’ll start with the fox. Draw a heart shape towards the top of the craft stick with a white paint pen and fill in. Finish the fox by drawing simple eyes and a circle nose with a black pen.
The brown bear is the easiest. Simply make simple eyes as before a circle nose and mouth with the black pen.
Next, we’ll make the raccoon with the gray stick. Use a black marker to color in the mask, like the image above. Then, use a black pen to draw a simple nose and mouth. Finish the racoon by using a silver fine-point pen to draw simple eyes in the black mask.
Lastly, draw a triangle at the top of the black craft stick to start our skunk. Draw a circle nose with the pink pen at the point of the triangle. Finish the skunk using the silver fine-point pen to draw simple eyes.
Possibly the cutest set of craft stick animals I’ve ever seen!
