Heart Flower Card Craft
If you’re looking for a sweet and special card to make this Valentine’s Day that’s also ridiculously easy, then you will love our Heart Flower Card Craft. And the person you give it to will love it, too.
I have to say, I really adore crafts that have a child’s handwriting or drawing as part of the craft. It makes it feel that much more special. So even though we’re just drawing the stem on these flowers, they’re each going to be super unique and special, straight from each unique child.
While I love this craft for Valentine’s Day, it would also make a great Mother’s Day card, too. Any occasion that’s full of heart and love. Need more cards that share the love? Be sure to also check out our Jar of Hearts Card, our Excavator Valentine Card Craft, these Crayon Resist Watercolor Valentine Cards, and our adorable Dinosaur Valentine Cards to name just a few of the many, many options we have here.
To make our Heart Flower Card Craft you will need cardstock in blue and red, a green marker, buttons, a heart paper punch, scissors, and a glue stick.
Make a Valentine’s Day Heart Flower Card
Supplies needed:
- Cardstock – blue, red
- Green marker
- Buttons, small
- Heart paper punch
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Begin by folding a sheet of blue cardstock in half for a card.
Then, take a green marker and make some stems and leaves coming from the stems. 2 or 3 is about all that will fit without overlapping the flowers.
Now, punch a bunch of hearts from red cardstock using the heart paper punch.
Glue 4 hearts in a flower shape at the top of the stems.
And glue a button in the center of the flower. We used black buttons, orange buttons, green buttons. Just use whatever you have on hand.
Finally, write a sweet message on the inside of the card for the special recipient of this thoughtful card! How simply sweet! Be sure to find more Valentine’s Day crafts for kids at Our Kid Things!
