Nature Stick Fingerprint Fall Tree Craft
Make a fall tree out of, well, a fall tree! That’s right, go outside and grab some sticks for this super simple, but super great, Nature Stick Fingerprint Fall Tree Craft for kids. This is the kind of craft where you just set the materials in front of them and let them do their thing.

As with most nature crafts, half the fun here is getting outside to find the materials needed. In this case, it’s sticks. What kid doesn’t love playing with sticks?

Once you gather a handful of sticks, you can make that part into a game, then comes putting it all together to form a tree on cardstock. Finish the tree with the cutest fingerprint leaves in fall colors.
Fingerprint Fall Tree Nature Stick Craft
To make our fingerprint fall tree you’ll need sticks or twigs from outside, clear Elmer’s glue, and white cardstock.

For the leaves, we used ink pads in fall colors. This made it a lot easier to set it and let them do their thing. But you can always use acrylic paint, instead.
Fall Tree Fingerprint Craft Supplies Needed
- Twigs or sticks from outside
- Clear Elmer’s glue
- Fingerprint ink pads – fall colors
- White cardstock
Nature Fall Tree Craft Step by Step Directions
First, and most importantly, get outside and gather some sticks or twigs!

Then, glue the sticks to the card stock paper to make it look like a tree.

Set aside and allow to dry.

Once the glue is set, gather ink pads in fall colors.

Then, use the ink pads to make fingerprints around the tree for the leaves. (I recommend the child wiping his/her finger off when switching colors to prevent mixing colors on the ink pads.)

Continue printing leaves on the tree until you get the desired amount of leaves. Let the ink dry completely.

Then, all that’s left is to display your beautiful masterpiece!
