Easy Christmas Tree Paper Cup Craft
For our Christmas tree craft, you’ll need paper cups, green acrylic paint, foam sheets in yellow, red, blue, or whatever colors you choose, red ribbon, scissors, and glue.
Paper Cup Christmas Tree Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper cup
- Green acrylic paint
- Foam sheets – yellow, red, or colors of choice
- Red ribbon
- Scissors
- Glue
Christmas Tree Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting the paper cup with green acrylic paint.
Let the paint dry completely.
Cut a star shape from a yellow foam sheet. You can use star foam stickers, instead.
Glue the star to the top of the paper cup. Regular glue or glue dots will work, just be sure to let the glue set. Or, you can use hot glue.
Now, cover a strand of ribbon around the paper cup.
Lastly, cut a few small circles for ornaments from the red and yellow foam sheets. We also did a tree with blue and white ornaments.
Glue the circle ornaments along the paper cup Christmas tree to finish this super cute and super easy-peasy Christmas craft!

Notes
- This craft can be completed with regular glue or glue dots, but for a firmer hold you may want to use hot glue. As always when using hot glue, be sure to monitor the use around young children.
