This is such a perfect start to the Christmas holiday. We made our Christmas tree craft with poms for the baubles. Go simple with the colors of poms and use just one or two, or get crazy and use them all. Because some people prefer an understated Christmas tree, and some people go all out.

Christmas Tree Paper Plate Craft
To make our paper plate Christmas tree, you will need paper plates, green acrylic paint, cardstock in brown and yellow, poms in Christmas colors, scissors, and a glue stick.

Christmas Tree Craft Supplies Needed
- Paper plate
- Green acrylic paint
- Poms
- Cardstock – brown, yellow
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Paper Plate Christmas Craft Step by Step Directions
Start by cutting a paper plate.

You will want to cut it in three sections.

Before or after you cut, paint the plate green. Let the paint dry completely.

While waiting for the paint to dry, cut a star from yellow cardstock and a rectangle from brown.

Then, when the paint is completely dry, glue the three paper plate sections together, one on top of another.


Decorate the Christmas tree with poms.

Glue the star at the top.

Finally, attach the brown cardstock tree trunk at the bottom to complete this darling and so easy Christmas tree craft!
