- Tan acrylic paint
- Cardstock – red, white, pink
- Circle paper punches – 5/8″, 1.5″

Santa Craft Step by Step Directions
You will need two paper plates for each Santa craft.

Paint one of the paper plates with tan acrylic paint. Or, do as we did and mix a little bit of brown and a lot of white until you get the color you’re looking for. Let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, cut half of the inside of the unpainted paper plate. An adult should do this step, as it can be kinda tricky.

Cut a wavy edge around the paper plate, too.

Then, print the Santa hat template on red cardstock and cut out.

You will need to cut, lengthwise, a long strip of white paper for the trim of the hat. Glue the white strip to the bottom of the Santa hat. Trim away any excess from the edges.

Now, when the paint is completely dry, glue the unpainted white paper plate to the tan plate.

Glue the hat to to the top of the plate, above the cut-out portion.

Add googly eyes.

Then, punch three small circles using a ⅝” circle paper punch. One red and two pink.

Glue the two pink circles in place for the cheeks.

Glue the red circle in place for the nose.

Finally, use a 1.5″ circle paper punch to make a circle from white paper. Glue the white circle to the end of Santa’s hat to complete this darling paper plate Christmas Santa craft.
