Sometimes, you just need a super simple paper craft like this adorable little Paper Roll Snail Craft. It’s the kind of craft that doesn’t require a lot of supplies or a long list of complicated directions. It’s just so fast and so simple, and such a great craft for kids of all ages.

Simply cut a vertical strip from a sheet of cardstock in your choice of colors. You can cut your strip in whatever size you want, for whatever size snail you want, made in whatever color you want. There are no rules here, just cute little paper snails.

Easy Paper Snail Craft
To make our paper snails you will first need heavy cardstock in your colors of choice. I say colors, plural, because you’re going to want to make more than one.

You will also need small googly eyes, markers in black and other assorted colors, scissors, and a glue stick.
Paper Roll Snail Craft Supplies Needed
- Heavy cardstock – your colors of choice
- Markers – black, assorted colors
- Googly eyes, small
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Snail Paper Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by choosing your cardstock color for your first snail. You will want to make sure you’re using heavy cardstock, as it will hold shape better.

Now, cutting vertically, cut a strip the full length from the cardstock. This can be whatever width you would like.

Fold up one end of the strip, a couple inches or so, just as a guide for right now.

Then, flip the strip over. Use the markers to make some simple lines, or waves or patterns of some sort, going down the length of the strip.

Once the lines are drawn, flip the strip back over and begin loosely rolling up the end with your fingers.

Continue rolling up until you reach the front section where you previously folded.

Let go of the roll. Refold the front piece, if needed, so that it stands up.

Next, add googly eyes and a small mouth with a black marker to the front of the fold.

Lastly, cut two thin strips out of whatever color cardstock you would like for the antennae.

Just glue the antennae into place, and that is how you make a super cute, super easy paper snail.
