Cupcake Liner Sheep Craft

It’s time to break out the cupcake liners for our adorable Cupcake Liner Sheep Craft! These jolly sheep make such a fun spring Easter craft. You could always make some cupcakes, too. Cupcakes are always good.

There’s always something so fun about sheep crafts. They’re just so round and fluffy when they’re full of wool. I love how simple white cupcake liners turn into a fun, fluffy sheep with only a few more supplies.

Cupcake Liner Sheep Craft

To make our cupcake liner sheep you will need white cupcake liners, cardstock in black and your choice of background colors, a 2” circle paper punch, small googly eyes, white paint pen, markers in green and black, scissors, and a glue stick.

Craft supplies needed.

Sheep Cupcake Liner Craft Supplies Needed

  • White cupcake liners
  • Cardstock – black, your choice of background colors
  • White paint pen
  • Markers – green, black
  • 2” circle paper punch
  • Googly eyes, small
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

Cupcake Liner Sheep Craft Step by Step Directions

Begin by choosing your background color of cardstock. For these, we chose pink and orange. You can choose any colors you’d like.

Glue cupcake liner to cardstock.

Now, grab a white cupcake liner and flatten it. Glue the center of the cupcake liner somewhere in the middle of the sheet of cardstock. Make sure the edges are left unglued.

Punch 2 inch black circle.

Next, use the 2” circle paper punch to punch a circle from the black paper.

Glue circle to front of cupcake liner.

Glue the circle to the front of the cupcake liner.

Add googly eyes and draw a simple mouth.

Add googly eyes to the black circle. Use the white paint pen to make the sheep a simple mouth.

Glue legs under cupcake liner.
Glue legs.

Then, cut 4 small rectangles from the black paper. Glue the 4 small rectangles to the bottom of the cupcake liner for legs.

Draw floppy ears with black marker.

Now, use the black marker to draw 2 floppy ears coming off either side of the black circle.

Draw simple tufts of grass with green marker.

Finally, use the green marker to make tufts of grass around the sheep on the background sheet of cardstock.
