Paper Bag Zebra Craft Step by Step Directions

Begin by painting a paper lunch bag white.

Paint paper bag white.

Let the bag dry completely.

Gather fork and black paint on flat surface.

Once the bag is dried, gather black paint and a regular kitchen fork. Pour a generous amount of black paint on a flat surface. We like to use a paper plate.

Dip tines of fork in black paint.

Now, dip the tines of the fork in the black paint. If you feel there’s too much paint, feel free to stamp the fork on the paper plate to remove the excess before moving to the paper bag.

Stamp tines of fork around edge of paper bag.

Stamp the tines of the fork on the edges of the paper bag.

Continue all around paper bag, except bottom.

Continue all the way around the paper bag, including the flap of the bag for the zebra’s face. The only edge not to stamp is the bottom. When all the edges have been painted with the fork, let the paint dry completely.

Cut oval and two triangles for muzzle and ears.

While the paint is drying, cut an oval-ish, football shape and two triangles from black cardstock. This is for the muzzle and ears.

Glue oval muzzle.

Then, when the paint is dry, glue the muzzle in place over the flap of the bag.

Glue ears.

Glue the ears in place at the top of the bag.

Add googly eyes.

Add googly eyes.

Draw nostrils and mouth with white paint pen.

Finally, use a white paint pen to add two nostrils and a simple mouth on the black muzzle of the zebra.
