Paper Bag Fork Painted Zebra Craft
We absolutely adore fork painting around here. It’s such a fun technique, as well as a great toddler craft and beyond. And when you think about it, zebra crafts like this Paper Bag Fork Painted Zebra Craft, are just made for fork painting. It’s the perfect way to make the black and white lines of the zebra.

Are zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes? That is the question. One that we’ve seemed to have answered ourselves with our zebra craft. They’re white with black stripes, obviously. Fork painted black stripes, for the win.

Fork Painted Paper Bag Zebra Craft
To make our super cute zebra craft you will need brown paper lunch bags, acrylic paint in white and black, a fork, black cardstock, white paint pen, medium sized googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick.

Fork Painted Zebra Craft Supplies Needed
- Brown paper lunch bags
- Acrylic paint – black, white
- Fork
- Black cardstock
- White paint pen
- Googly eyes, medium sized
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Paper Bag Zebra Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by painting a paper lunch bag white.

Let the bag dry completely.

Once the bag is dried, gather black paint and a regular kitchen fork. Pour a generous amount of black paint on a flat surface. We like to use a paper plate.

Now, dip the tines of the fork in the black paint. If you feel there’s too much paint, feel free to stamp the fork on the paper plate to remove the excess before moving to the paper bag.

Stamp the tines of the fork on the edges of the paper bag.

Continue all the way around the paper bag, including the flap of the bag for the zebra’s face. The only edge not to stamp is the bottom. When all the edges have been painted with the fork, let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, cut an oval-ish, football shape and two triangles from black cardstock. This is for the muzzle and ears.

Then, when the paint is dry, glue the muzzle in place over the flap of the bag.

Glue the ears in place at the top of the bag.

Add googly eyes.

Finally, use a white paint pen to add two nostrils and a simple mouth on the black muzzle of the zebra.

This was such a fun craft for us, and we hope you love it just as much!
